A Look at the Vulcans Athletic Teams

Football
The Vulcan’s football team brought home a win against Mercyhurst last Saturday, Oct. 29, with a score of 44-20 California. The Vulcans finished with over 500 yards of total offense. The Vulcans play again this Saturday, Nov. 5, at home against Gannon, starting at noon.
Swimming
The Vulcan’s swimming team got three individual victories and seven runner-up finishes (six individual) against East Stroudsburg and Kutztown last Friday, Oct. 28. The team also earned two home dual victories against East Stroudsburg and Kutztown last Saturday, Oct. 29. The Vulcans return Saturday, Nov. 5, with a dual meet at Lock Haven, starting at 1 p.m.
Volleyball
The Vulcan’s volleyball team lost against Edinboro this past Friday, Oct. 28, with a score of 3-1 Edinboro. The Vulcans won against Mercyhurst last Saturday, Oct. 29, with a score of 3-2 California. The team then lost this past Tuesday, Nov. 1, against Seton Hill with a score of 3-1 Seton Hill. The Vulcans travel this Friday, Nov. 4, to play Slippery Rock starting at 7 p.m. and will be the last match of the regular season.
Soccer
The Vulcan men’s soccer team took a loss against Seton Hill last Saturday, Oct.29, with a score of 2-0 Seton Hill. The Vulcans closed out the fall 2022 season with a record of 4-11-1 overall.
The Vulcan women’s soccer team tied against Edinboro this past Saturday, Oct. 29, with a score of 1-1. The Vulcans closed out the fall 2022 season with a record of 6-8-3 overall.
Cross-Country
The Vulcans men’s cross country compete this Saturday, Nov.5, at the PSAC Championship in Mansfield starting at 11:30 a.m.
The Vulcans women’s cross country compete this Saturday, Nov.5, at the PSAC Championship in Mansfield starting at 12:45 p.m.
