Volleyball

The Vulcan volleyball team lost this past Friday, Oct. 14, with a score of 3-2 Seton Hill. The team falls to 10-9 overall with a 4-6 record in divisional play because of the loss. The Vulcans play again Friday, Oct. 21, at home against Clarion starting at 6 p.m.

Golf

The Vulcan men’s golf team finished fifth in the PSAC Championship. Junior Connor Alfieri finished twelfth overall on the individual leaderboard. This marks the end of the Vulcan season for fall 2022.

Soccer

The Vulcan women’s soccer team took a loss against Mercyhurst last Saturday, Oct. 15, with a score of 2-0 Mercyhurst. They also brought home a win Wednesday, Oct. 22, against Slippery Rock with a score of 3-1 California. This was the Vulcan’s first win at Slippery Rock since 2012. The Vulcans play again this Saturday, Oct. 22, and host Gannon for the Homecoming Game starting at noon.

The Vulcan men’s soccer team lost against Mercyhurst last Saturday, Oct. 15, with a score of 4-0 Mercyhurst. They also took a loss this past Wednesday, Oct. 19, against Slippery Rock with a score of 5-0 Slippery Rock. The Vulcans play again this Saturday, Oct. 22, as the host Gannon for the Homecoming Game starting at 2:30 p.m.

Football

The Vulcan football team won against Seton Hill this Saturday, Oct. 15, with a score of 21-14 California. During the game, Junior linebacker Noah Dillow set a career-high with 14 tackles. The Vulcans play again Saturday, Oct. 22, at home against Slippery Rock for Homecoming Weekend starting at 3:30 p.m.

Tennis

The Vulcan tennis team took home a win this past Wednesday, Oct. 19, against Shippensburg with a score of 6-1 California.

Cross Country

The Vulcan men’s cross-country team heads to Slippery Rock for the Lennox Invitational starting at 11:30 a.m.

Swimming

The Vulcan swimming team starts having a meet Friday, Oct. 21, at Fairmount State against Shippensburg starting at 5 p.m. The Vulcans also have a meet at Davis and Elkins against Frostburg State Saturday, Oct. 22, starting at 1 p.m.
