CALIFORNIA (Oct. 5) – The California University of Pennsylvania swimming program released its schedule for the 2021-22 campaign on Tuesday afternoon.

The schedule consists of various dual meets and tri-meets against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and Mountain East Conference (MEC) programs. The Vulcans will also be competing in multiple invitational events prior to the championship season.

Cal U opens the year with a tri-meet at Hamer Hall against Shippensburg and Fairmont State on Oct. 22 before hosting another tri-meet the next day versus Frostburg State and Davis & Elkins. The following weekend, the Vulcans travel to face East Stroudsburg and Kutztown for a pair of tri-meets at the respective schools.

In November, Cal U will host a dual meet on Nov. 6 against Lock Haven before competing at the Magnus Cup hosted by Cleveland State on Nov. 18-20.

The Vulcans will return to competition in 2022 by hosting Kutztown and Lock Haven for a two-day tri-meet at Hamer Hall on Jan. 14-15. Cal U will then compete at the annual Western Pennsylvania Invitational hosted by Pitt on Jan. 28-29 at Trees Pool.

The PSAC Championships will again be held at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pennsylvania, from Feb. 16-19. In the abbreviated 2021 spring season, Cal U recorded its highest finish at the league meet since 2014 after totaling over 400 points.

The NCAA Championships are set for March 9-12 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
