“Mental Health Matters: Ending the Stigma”
Cal U Dance Ensemble: (housed under) Undergraduate Center for Research
When: April 7 and April 30, 2020 at 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the Student Performance Center, Natali Student Center, California University of Pennsylvania
“Mental Health Matters” is a presentation and benefit that includes dancing, singing and speakers on various mental health topics. All donations for the presentation will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Autism Caring Center located in Oakdale, Pennsylvania. Learn about current statistics on mental health, positive coping skills, suicide prevention, sexual assault awareness and current Autism statistics. Help support mental health awareness on campus. Together we can “End the Sigma of Mental Illness.” It is “ok not to be ok,” and you are not alone” on this journey.

I wonder how many ways we can find to instruct people “there is a stigma” to mental illnesses?
