(Aug. 29, 2019) Sheetz is up and running at its newest location on Route 40 in Brownsville, Pa. A grand opening celebration was held Thursday with prizes awarded to customers, including a $1,000 Sheetz gift card.

Sheetz donated $2,500 to the Fayette County Community Action Food Bank, who works with nearly 400 partner agencies to feed millions of people in need and mobilize the community to eliminate hunger. Customers attending the grand opening were encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to the Food Bank. Participants received a Sheetz branded thermal bag for their donation. Through local and national food-assistance programs, Sheetz is able to help people in the local communities they serve who struggle with hunger.

During the store’s grand opening ceremony, Sheetz also donated $2,500 to Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. As a proud supporter of Special Olympics for over 20 years, Sheetz extends its support through financial contributions, product donations and event volunteers.

Sheetz currently operates 593 store locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
