Show Review: Riverdale

Fans have been kept on the edge of their seats for the past two seasons of Riverdale and I don’t think this new season will be any different. Past seasons of the show have been a rollercoaster of emotions for fans because of all the unexpected events that happen around every corner. I have watched the series from the beginning and I can say it has kept me hooked from day one. The creators keep you curious and wanting more. Though out the series fans can expect romance and mystery as well as some fighting between characters and groups.

This series is based off of the Archie comics and although I have never read them I believe they follow the comics loosely. Although they follow the main 4 characters and their lives but the show adds events and characters to make the show unique and different from the comics. This makes people who liked the comics either want to watch because of what its based on or not want to watch because its different from the comics.

The first episode of season three premiered this past Wednesday and It left me wanting this next week to fly by so I could see the next episode. In this season one of the characters Archie Andrews who is in trouble with the law because of events that occurred in previous episodes. The episode starts of with the end of the trial and during the show the other characters responses on the trial and how they are living their life before the verdict.

There have been rumors about the creators adding so magical elements into the show and we see a little of that during this first episode of the season. There was always speculation and now it’s coming to life. In this episode we see floating babies and a board game that seems to not be any ordinary game. We also see one of the character Betty Cooper start getting annoyed with her mother and sister antics which could be contributed to magic.

I also believe the cast does good job at keep the fans interested while filming. They always update their social media with behind the sense content so fans can start speculation what could happen. I think this is very useful because everyone uses some form of social media so everyone can stay up to date with the show. Some of the character also have real life relationships aside from the show which also makes the show interesting. Jughead Jones who is played by Cole Sprouse is dating the girl who plays Betty Cooper so their on screen off screen relationship keeps people entertained.

Overall this season I think we can expect the unexpected. There will be lots of turns and once you think you know what will happen something very different will occur. Im excited for this season because i’m curious what could happen next and where they will take the story line. I recommend the show to others if you like thinking because it keeps your mind going.
