(Jan. 29, 2018) Cal U alumnus Gene Steratore has been named Super Bowl LII referee. It’ll be the first time that Steratore, originally from Uniontown, Pa., refs the Super Bowl, which will be played Feb. 4 at U.S. Bank in Minnesota. Steratore graduated from Cal U in 1988.
