Students interested in having their works published now have a chance with the recent announcement of the Pen Club Literary Magazine’s call for submissions made on Feb. 2, 2025. Pen Club is looking for students to submit their works of short fiction, nonfiction, flash memoir, poetry, art, illustration, and photography for their first edition of the magazine, which is to be digitally published via their website by the end of the Spring semester. The call for submissions will close on March 31st, at which point the Pen Club board of directors will begin its review process.

Through the first and subsequent editions, Pen Club aims to promote literature and the arts on the California campus while providing students a creative outlet and a means of showcasing their works to the PennWest Community and beyond. Through this magazine, students will be empowered to build their portfolio and publication credits, which will help them as they pursue a career.
