On Tuesday, Mar. 25, students who are selected by URC-PA will meet with students from other campuses and present their research to members of the Pennsylvania House and Senate. The event will be held in the Main Rotunda located in the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg. Interested students must meet with their advisor and additional university staff members to determine if eligibility requirements are met and begin the application process.
The URC-PA is an educational conference where selected undergraduate students of all fields of research meet at the state’s capitol to network with other students and staff from universities across the state, as well as present their topics to state legislators through informative posters.
The research presented at the conference will provide students the chance to present important information about their communities that state legislators can then be enlightened on topics that are relevant to society. Students are encouraged to contact their state representative and senator to schedule meetings prior to the event to discuss their research findings.
