The Men’s Rugby Club recently won their home tournament that took place at Adamson Stadium on Saturday, March 16.
The Men’s Rugby Club’s Head Coach, David Martin III, said “The Club started out strong with a 35-5 victory over St. Francis University, followed by a tough lose to Geneva College 12-0. After 2 clubs departed early from the tournament, our 3rd match vs Carnegie Mellon University become a playoff match that we pulled out in OT 29-24. Geneva sent home St. Vincent College, setting up a championship rematch against us, that we won 33-12 making us the 2024 Roosterhead Champions.”
Martin also mentioned their next game will be at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) on Saturday, March 23.
